The new offerings, which integrate advanced AI capabilities and robust security features, aim to address the growing demands for reliable and secure connectivity in an increasingly digital world.

The new Wi-Fi 7 access points come equipped with AI-native functionality, allowing them to self-configure and adapt to different environments in real-time.

This intelligence is complemented by Cisco Spaces, a platform that enables organizations to create smart workplaces that enhance operational efficiency and user experiences.

“Wi-Fi is at the center of blending physical experiences with digital interactions,” said Jeetu Patel, Cisco’s Chief Product Officer. “Our Wi-Fi 7 access points are designed to provide the connectivity and data necessary for businesses to reimagine employee and customer experiences .”

One of the standout features of Cisco’s Wi-Fi 7 is its unified subscription model, which simplifies licensing and management.

This approach allows customers to manage their networks seamlessly, whether on-premises or in the cloud, providing flexibility as organizations evolve.

According to Cisco, this unified networking subscription covers the entire Wi-Fi 7 solution, making it easier for businesses to invest in future-proof wireless networks.

The new access points are designed not only for connectivity but also for security. With advanced threat detection capabilities and AI-driven device profiling, Cisco ensures that every connection is secure.

Additionally, the integration of Cisco ThousandEyes allows organizations to monitor and optimize network performance, ensuring a high-quality experience for users regardless of their location.

Industry leaders have expressed enthusiasm for Cisco’s latest offerings. Carlos Sanchez Baena, Telco Manager at Fira de Barcelona, highlighted the importance of reliable connectivity for hosting major events, stating, “As high-bandwidth technology proliferates, the ability to support AR/VR and live-streaming is even more critical. That’s why we’re so happy Wi-Fi 7 from Cisco is here.”

The launch of Cisco’s Wi-Fi 7 access points marks a significant step in the company’s commitment to delivering innovative networking solutions that prioritize operational simplicity and security. The new products are available for order starting November 2024, with shipments expected to begin in December.
