Cisco is no 6 in the 100-Best-Companies-to-Work list

Edited By Harris Andrea

FORTUNE magazine published a list with the “100 Best Companies to work” for 2008, and Cisco Systems is no. 6 in the list. Specifically, Cisco is recognized as a company that keeps the balance between work and modern life, offers many choices and innovation in the field of communications, and provides competitive salaries and has low rate of withdrawal of personnel.

Cisco ranked 6 in the list of all companies located in the United States and 4 in the list of all major companies. Also Cisco is present in the All-Star list, as its included in the Best Companies list every year since its publication in 1998. Cisco is the number one company in the field of alternative communication solutions and also number one in the categories of salary, bonus and companies with the lowest percentage of workers leaving.
According to the “Great Place To Work Institute”, which works together with Fortune magazine to create the list:  «The 100 companies we have chosen are the elite of the business world».
